Default 2000 Tundra - considering- priced too high?

According to KBB it is. I wanted some input here. As you know, I have been considering a new/newer car truck. I have about decided to get a "base" 06' Tundra V6, but I found a 2000 Tundra SR5 ext cab, with V8 and 4WD that I think I just have to have.

It is at one of the local Toyota dealers. It has 117K miles, and they are still asking $13,995, but I think I can get it for around $10,500, which is KBB PP value. It is like new, black, with tan interior and has all records - is a 2-owner. Do these have any issues? Would I be better off getting a NEW 06' 2WD V6, for only $3000-$4000 more? I am also considering a 2000 Avalon, but thats a different story.

Thanks in advance.
