I ran the tank to as close to empty as I dared and then filled up on some 93 octane..tried to replicate the pinging this morning by mashing the pedal to the floor and she just kicked down a couple of gears dipped the rear and took off like a jack rabbit. No noise at all..smoothre than a sewing machine.
I guess the higher octane works but 9.6:1 is not too high. Are these iron or aluminum heads on this I-Force??
Seems like the timing may need to be advanced (or do I mean retarded

)??
