That's about what we see with our '04 sienna too.
Remember this is a heavy vehicle.
From the Toyota web site
Sienna
(CE & LE curb weight 4140, XLE & Limited 4255).
Tundra
Regular Cab 4550
Access Cab (Limited) 4785/(4735)
DC (4765)
So these vans weigh almost as much as the Tundra and it has a V6 hauling it around.
A lot of glass and a peppy v6 = not very good mpg.
Plus it's a van; three rows of seats, the entire family and all of their stuff....All of that adds up.
I would like to get better MPG, but I don't see it happening. I have tried varying my driving style, keeping the tires properly inflated, etc. Maybe I'll change the sparkplugs.
