I was basically wondering if the mic is at all directional and am considering mounting mine on top of the steering column or at the top of the driver A-pillar.

If I mount the mic at the top of the A-pillar I want to be sure the wire doesn't interfere with the side curtain airbags. Anyone know how the side curtain airbags actually deploy?

Thanks,
Steve

Maybe someone else. I wanted the mic directly in front of my speech as the voice recognition is a bit weak. So I mounted it on top of the steering pillar. If you mount it with velcro,, you can try various positions.
