Default Re: 95' T100 - 3.4L or 3.0L??

I know the T100's had the same engines as the Tacoma for 95. That is the 2.7 4 cyl. and the 3.4 V6. 1995 was an odd year for Toyota trucks. the Tacoma debuted as a 95.5 model being sold side by side with the late great Japanese pickup model truck- which still had the 2.4 4 cyl. and the 3.0 V6. I don't know if some T100's still had the older 3.0 V6. Perhaps they were an option for the base model long bed reg. cabs? But never heard of the new for 95 Xtra cab T100 comming with a 3.0 V6. In any case I wouldn't buy a T100 with the 3.0 V6 it was not as good as the newer 3.4 six. I've had three trucks with the older engine and they are dawgs, use oil, and are bad on gas for the mere 150HP output.
