Use a clear bottle and a small rubber hose on the vleeder screw on the slave cylinder (undervehicle)
If the system has a mush pedal as you describe , you probably need a clutch master and you might as well change the slave cylinder too.
If there are no leaks, you've bled the systemand the pedal still feels funny then the clutch pressure plate may have gone south.
