Default Re: Engine Vibration

No, haven't seen that in my wife's hatchback (with automatic). Is the idle rpm (in gear, stopped) high? Does the car lunge forward when the brake is released?

I know that when the car is first started (cold), it immediately goes to what seems like a very high idle, but that is done for emission reasons and settles down fairly quickly.

Does the car run properly otherwise (gas mileage, acceleration, and so on)? If you put the transmission in neutral, is the idle abnormally high?
