I pressure wash my engine, blow dry with a leaf blower & spray it down with 303. When the 303 starts to set up, I hit it with the leaf blower again to spread out the droplets that collect.
Nice, dark sheen & dry, but looks wet. It'll last another pressure wash or 2, then it's time to reapply.
The 303 doesn't hurt anything...paint, rubber plastic, etc.
