Default Re: Volant Cold Air Intake Reviews...

I have a Volant CAI on my 06 DBL Cab and love it. It gives the truck a throaty sound when you step on it. As for performance, I'm not sure if I gained anything from it since it was installed when the truck had 200 miles on it. Also during this time I had all my other mods put on except for the muffler. One thing I can tell you is I did not lose any noticeable low end torque. I can pull my boat (2100 lbs) without a problem. After the muffler was installed I have the same throaty sound throughout the RPM range rather than the 3000 and above range. The quality of the Volant is nice and it I have not had any issues. I currently have 1900 miles on my truck. I have a picture of it in my gallery
