Default Canadian short shifter kit fits US Spec Yaris just fine

I bought a manual Yaris about six months ago and the shifter has been bugging me a lot. It's rubbery and the length of the throw is more suitable to a small truck then a car.

I've been looking for a short shift kit for a US spec Yaris but haven't found one yet so I ordered one from TWM Performance in Canada, this weekend I installed it and it makes a world of difference. The car is much more fun to drive!

I took some pics of the installation and posted them:

You should get the optional shift tower bushing too, they really stiffen it up!

Cheers!

Jake.
