Today I walked out to my truck and saw this, a HUGE paint chip, with flaking all around the point. It's about 1/4 inch big, and 1/4 of cracked paint around that. So about 1/2 inch of affected area. I called Toyota and got a case number. I figure hopefully they will make it right, a truck this new should not have chips like this, I understand small ones, but this big? The Toyota regional rep will contact me within 3 days, hopefully Toyota will follow through with this, I have not been disapointed yet, they have taken care of me before!

I am such a careful driver, and take great care of my paint, this is so disapointing to have this happen! My birthday present to myself will be 3m rockguard. Any other spots in the picture are just dirt, this is the only chip on the fender.

dibble, what ever happened with your case #? i got one aweek ago and havent heard anything yet. alot of chips in salsa red with low miles. thanks, just want to know what im in for
