Custom Kings on an RCD lift would do nothing for me other than waste money. 7 - 8" of lift is getting too far up in the air for my off roading and dumping a grand to get better travel isn't worth it. I also doubt you get the same droop from Kings as you do SAW's. Kings have a larger diameter coil spring than the 2.5" SAW's. At least on the TC lift, the larger diameter springs will hit the spindle before the smaller ones limiting droop.
I can't remember what my lift was advertised as. I think it was 4.5"...

I wasn't trying to say the T/C lift sucks but you are comparing stuff that doesn't come with the kit.
Yeah, I have an rcd kit with the bilsteins and coilspring specialties coils and am ridding at about 9" of lift, but it was extra. Sure my truck sits as high as Mustang's truck with the RCD and a 3" b/l but that isn't the point. If you get the 2.5" springs and they hit then get some UCAs like I have and I can swing plenty of travel before I even come close to the spring. As you can see the King shocks are adjustable and are 2.5" as well.

The comparison of the other aftermarket stuff is about the same as pissing into the wind. It's useless and just gets you wet...
I am not trying to bag on the T/C kit, I have nothing against it, I am only trying to point out that the kits differ in price due to the other components that RCD provides and you can still do other things to it to get more lift, it's all in the eye of the beholder.
