I have noticed pros and cons to this intake (K&N FIPK). It is great on the highway and makes a lot of noise...we all know that. It loves the cold weather too; makes good use of it.

BUT, on a hot day from a stop my truck is a dog. It does suck in too much hot air and is terrible. So, that being said, as of right now I love my intake because of the weather and the fact that I am not towing. But if I was towing, or maybe even come this summer, I may take it off because it does sacrifice "low end grunt"

Do some searches and you'll find all the details you need; including all the different brands to choose from. Good luck
