I got the 275/70/17 with a toytec aal + spacer lift to level it out. they're great tires. they are indeed expensive, they cost more than the wheels (eagle #137).

i have never had tires with lots of tread, so i can't comment about their volume relative to say, bfg -- however, i didn't notice any increase in noise from the factory donuts.
