$20 after the second question... Hmmm - how can I put this... Oh, gee, I sure wish I had the part no. for that RSB!

I haven't found it looking under Solara or Camry, so I'm guessing it's listed first under another model. I did find the FTSB - and it's $160 at one internet dealer. I'd start with those two, and see about the springs next.

"The TRD springs aren't as easy a DIY project unless you got a big burly friend to help you "

As a matter of fact, I do. And he has a spring compressor, and some experience with replacing springs. And, if I do decide to replace the springs, I have beer so I can watch carefully, and offer advice from a distance.

I don't know what's up about the alarm, other than I've seen the Toyota factory alarm listed as including a glass break sensor, which might be a bad thing in a convertible. I heard some comments about people having difficulties with the Karr system, although that could be installation and not the system. I'm trying to find out what I can about the factory unit, and I figure if it'll work out I can probably install it myself. I'm assuming the wiring and connectors are already in the car, and it's mostly about locating them and connectings things.

Thanks again for your help - and if you feel like it, pass on the part no. for that RSB!
