Hi Jeff,

I recently purchased an 06 SLE convertible. My wife opened the top inside of a parking garage and it now has a 4 inch tear in the canvas right above the frame where it attaches above the widshield. The tear does not visably seperate until it is opened and folded down. A trim shop informed me that it could not be repaired only replaced. Is this correct?
