Update...

Someone from Toyota Canada called me up at home on my complaint. She really didnt sound like she had much additional detail on the Canadian Campaign. She tried to tell me my VIN mentioned in the US recall was for the US...I said, OK come on...a VIN is a VIN regardless of whether it is Canada or the US...and that all Tundra's to my knowledge were manufactured on the same line in Indiana. She didn't resist much and agreed to call my dealer to authorize the replacement.

I got a call from the dealer the next day saying that my vehicle was indeed affected and that the reason I hadn't been notified was because it was a staggered recall so it would take some time. He further continued to say that I was welcome to call them back and schedule a replacement at my convenience for the recall.
