Re: Post your 100K, 200K or 300K(!) miles T100
297k babied miles on my '95 SR5 Xtracab.
Replaced radiator (w/copper), rebuilt heads, self-rebuilt starter (didn't need it - just precautionary), new drive-shaft hanger bearing, and installed a used 60/40 seat as mine was losing it's resilentcy. That's it other than tires, battery and misc. bulbs & plastic clips. The front pads are the second, and the rear are original.
I'm thinking the U-joints shoiuld go but they are still tight.
Some minor oil leaks, squeeks and rattles; otherwise no change. Oh: the seat belts should be replaced as they do not retract well without assist. A/C still blows cold.
I just can't justify a newer Tundra. I like the 2000-2002 with the chrome front bumper and V8 or an 2005-up Frontier with either a 4-banger or V6. The newest Tundra is okay - kinda ugly but I'd just get the regular-cab short-bed; not sure what engine to get as this is a daily driver for me, I'm not a power-monger, and the heaviest thing I haul is my dirt bike.
