Default Re: Post your 100K, 200K or 300K(!) miles T100

Original owner of a 96, 4x4, XCab with 127K miles on the odo.

Head gasket was replaced per recall. Other than that, I replaced the speedometer cable around 100K because it was causing the cruise control to oscillate a few miles up and down from the set speed. Schedule maintenance performed throughout.

This truck has been driven hard, especially when off roading the trails of Colorado. It also tows our 3000lb pound camper 3-5 times each summer, with an out of state trip every other year or so. This is in addition to a daily commute of some 45miles.

As others have said, so I concur, this truck is bullet proof. I couldn’t ask for more from this vehicle. I suspect she will go another 100K miles without even breaking a sweat.

In the next year or two I plan on getting a 07/08 Tundra to haul a larger, heavier camper trailer. If not for this, I would be happy to drive her till she or me, which ever comes first, dies.
