Default Re: Factory Fogs on '06 are easy

Man, I wish I would have read all of this before ordering those lights!!!!! I haven't had a chance to check under the hood yet, but knowing my luck, my 06 CE probably doesn't have them either. I'm crossing my fingers. I know everyone keeps talking about the switch, but seriously, is there any way of using the push in switch they send you with the kit.

I've install after market lights on several cars in the past. I'm half tempted to strip the sockets, and connectors off the harness, and just wire it like the countless other sets of after market lights. Wire the sockets, a ground, a hot lead from the a 12 volt source to the switch, and switched lead back to the lights. Possibly still be able to use that nifty push in switch that fits right in the dash coin holder. So, what do ya think? Could work!!!
