Why waste your time?
Why make it, sort of ghetto?
If you get the relay and Toyota switch, the whole job will be “Factory”.
If the car has an electrical problem, and Toyota sees your butchered electrical job...guess who gets to pay the bill?
And when it comes time to sell your ride, all the new owner will see, is a "Factory" type installation.
Course maybe you don't really care what kind of quality the job has, or you can't afford a switch.
Too bad, but good luck anyway.
Sure hope nothing shorts out on you.
