The TRD is OK but can not compare to a Borla. Total cost including labor will be 458.00.
So your opinion is that the Borla is "better" based on a 7 year old design? How would you know on an 2007 5.7L engine that hasn't had one on it, or been compared to any of the others. Be it TRD, Magnaflow, Flowmaster or whatever. Intill numbers are presented in a unbiased test of the systems, your opinion is just that an opinion.

I have also heard opinions that the Borlas drone at some RPMs make people want to puke. Again, just opinions.

I know that the TRD Dual exhaust is not going to suit everyone. I do know that it added some Umpf and it sounds killer when I punch it but, I chose to stay with the manufacturer for one reason and one reason only...the warrantee stays intact. This brand new Tundra design is unproven. I don't want any room for debate if something was to happen. So it costs me twice as much, oh well. I got the effect I was looking for.
