Default Re: How To: Fog Light Modification

I finally got around to doing the fog light mod.

I wanted to easily be able to pass safety check. So I did it a bit differently.

So I installed a SPDT (Single pole double throw) Rocker switch ON/ON.

That basically means that it's a switch that allows me to select power sources. One way is constant power, and the other way is powered exactly as factory!

Any ways? I tried to do the wiring from the bottom of the fuse block but it was a birds nest under there! Too much trouble so I just did it the "getto" way. Best thing is that it is easily reversed back to stock. No one would ever know I did anything. (But I'll do it from underneath when I have more time.)

Here's the wiring:

Here's the rocker switch:

Everything works like the regular fog light mod! Just that with a flick of a switch it can work just like factory fogs!

Here's the print for the fog: BEFORE

AFTER:

The red line would be the ON/ON rocker switch.
