I believe the 2004 is 5 spd also. I will be getting new tires very soon,maybe this will help. The Dunlops have lasted only 28,000 miles. I undertsand many people had this problem with the Dunlops too.
Who knows, Toyota just replaced the coolant sensor,coolant, thermostat and an air/fuel sensor under warranty. Maybe this will help.
