The fog lights are available on both the LE and the CE depending on where your dealer is located.
In North Dakota dealers have all sorts of LE's with the optional fog lights, from the factory.
They also don't often come with the mandatory Moon Roof.
Toyota could sell a lot more product in North America, if they would just drop the stupid Japanese marketing scheme, and adopt the Burger King type marketing....You know...”Have it your way.”
Using the system of allowing you (the customer) to order your car the way you want it, instead of the way THEY want you to have it, they could sell a ton more of them here.

But a lot of people are really turned off to buying a car that can only be optioned the way Toyota SAYS it can be, mainly with "packages", instead of individual options.

Tell me how many CE owners would gladly pay for remote door locks?
Not available says Toyota.
Why?
Because they think you are too stupid to order your own car, so they are doing it for you, whether you like it or not.
And it allows them to stick it to you for the LE instead.
Great choice, right?
You want a cheap option added to your CE, but the factory says you have to buy the expensive model in order to get it.
