They only go on one way, the strut is marked as 'out' and the spacer is marked with a line to match. Web site says they are 2.4", order invoice says it is a 2.25" kit and the actual measurement of the spacer is 1.75". I can understand how a 1.75" spacer makes a 2.25" lift given the change in the spring rate and all, not sure how I got 3". Maybe I should double check the before measurement at the dealer on another truck.
As for the two person suggestion, it's your call, I am just glad I had my brother to help. It probably saved an hour of work and a lot of frustration. There are times when you need to be under the truck and also have the spindle moved out of the way at the same time.
