Maybe I should double check the before measurement at the dealer on another truck.
This was bugging me, so I took a drive down to the local dealership to check it out on some stock trucks. I had misplaced my original measurement I wrote down and had guessed wrong of course, actual wheel well to ground measurement is 36.25" stock (not 35.25") and now that my suspension has settled in nicely, it is 38.5" with the kit. So it does provide a 2.25" lift in the front and it does make the truck appear level when looking at it from the side. I am very happy with the kit, recommend it to anyone wanting just a leveling kit.
