Default Yes, another tire queston...

I have an '04 Double Cab with 4x4 and TRD. The OEM tire size of course is 265/70-16. My biggest grip is the squatty look I have on the front end - even when running 35psi. I have searched the forums and learned the following:

1) upgrading to LT tires will give me a thicker sidewall, but maybe a harsher ride

2) Michelin only makes the LTX M/S in 265/75-16 which is 1.1 inches taller than stock

3) this will affect my spedo by 2.8%

4) If I understand correctly, I have to run a higher psi in LTs to maintain my load rating?

So, what I need to know, from you that have done this switch is if there is a real-world difference in power, MPG, ride, handling, etc.?

Am I all wet, should I just stay with P rated tires?

BTW, riding the LTX/MS in stock size now and love them, but 3 of the 4 have been patched in 60K miles - really need a "tougher tire"

Thanks
Jack
