There are two designations for the 5.7 in the vin number ... X and S, or is this for the truck? The dipstick TSB says the S vehicles are the ones with the O-ring problem. Is there any corrolation with this designator and the cam shaft problems? The reason I ask is because mine was built in 01/07, in Texas, and has an X00xxxx vin number so is a very early truck.
