I say drive it like you stole it, it breaks it gets fixed. just like anyother vehical on the road today.
All of that is great, fantastic. I just want to have one that this particular issue will not bite me after I buy the thing. Is that so hard to understand?

I know crap breaks, even Toyota's, which seems to be the big sticking point on this forum. I just want one that has any known issues to be addressed BEFORE I plunk my money down on it.

I came over here following a link from another forum that Toyota reps do not come to, looking for answers from him, the Toyota rep.

I've never owned a Toyota, would very much like to get one, a DC 4WD SR5 with the 5.7 and 6 speed, not interested in the whole internet bashing crap. I like what I see with the truck and am willing to buy one. Just not one that could be a problem with something that could be addressed before I get it.

The Toyota rep was here, hoping he'd come back with some kind of assurance that this issue is in fact put to bed.

I do know if the dealers had the same attitudes that is on display here, I wouldn't give Toyota a second thought.
