FWIW unless the lights/light bar/rack is smooth with the shape of the roof it will take away from your gas mileage.
I had a Tacoma with lights that I could flip up/down. I tested them up at 70mph for one tank (all highway) and down, same type of terrain and weather... same day. The 2 hella 500's and 2 hella rallye 4000's took the MPG down ~4MPG. The wind drag is considerable.
