It looks like hte head unit is recessed into the dash, is this true? Did it come with a spacing "ring" to move the head unit out a bit?
hard t otell because the details are blown out, but it looks like it matches the texture of the dash.

Yes, I recessed the deck in too far. My intention was to keep the knobs out of the way and to keep the sun off the face plate. I agree it looks a little odd so I'll reset it a little more flush when I get the time. But the kit does blend well with the flat black on the dash.
