Default Re: Bed bouncing question

I wonder if the guys in the Silverado forums are worrying about how their trucks looked in that comparison video. Less bed movement (still alot though) than the Tundra, but wheels that were off of the ground most of the time, making the truck difficult to control for the driver in the picture!

Nah, probably not. They saw the videos as the fake "escaped from the factory" viral advertising it was. They no doubt have long experience in the Ford v/s Chevy wars, and blew it off as creative advertising by the competitor.

I realize some see a perceived problem in the ride of their trucks and the bed movement related to this. I say "perceived", because I sincerely doubt there is that much difference between trucks, other than 4WD and/or TRD differences, so we all have the "bed bounce problem". Some apparently just don't perceive it as such.

I'm just saying that the trumped-up Ford video is being used as justification for their concerns, and I'd prefer some more objective data on something that I believe is by design, not a flaw.

I'm sorry you don't like the ride of your truck, but it is hardly a flaw worthy of a class-action lawsuit (or even a "flaw" as such), and not unprecedented in the world of large pickup trucks.
