I have a D3 coming this week. How did the install go? Do you have any tips or suggestions before I start...or is it all pretty straight forward?

Thanks again!
I do have a couple of tips:
1) If you plan to install an aftermarket rearview camera, ipod adapter, amp wiring, or dvd changer, do it while you take the dash apart. I say this because the dash is a decent amount of work to take off. You need to take off the trim around the guages, the A/C bezel and the stereo.
2) Buy the toyota plug adapter from wal-mart, the internet, or a stereo store. This will save you a ton of time of chasing wires down and splicing.
3) http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4670 DO the hack for two reasons. If you want to search destinations and change course while in motion or if you want to be able to let your passengers watch dvd's while you drive.

Install was about 2.5 hours and was my third stereo installation. I didn't have the instructions for taking the dash apart and the majority of my time was wasted on that.
