This is why im STILL mulling over getting a diesel, an older one at that (possibly a 99-02 powerstroke with the rock solid 7.3L). Best I can estimate I will be towing around 60% of the time, but as I can see it, it wont be more than 5-6k. Sure the Tundra and Silverado can do it but that whole 9MPG thing while towing still haunts me...
