Toyota can introduce a lot of models in the US which would probably decimate the domestic auto industry. You can read posts of GM dealers getting mad at Toyota and corporate GM etc.
Peoples attitudes towrds anything foreign needs to change and people should stop listening to radio talk shows which currently are running this country.

I think you have it backwards. I think Americans really don't care where things are made anymore which is good in some respects but we are slowing selling off this country to the highest bidder. I'm not anti-foreign anything but I damn sure am not
happy to see more and more of America go over seas. I have always been a big fan of Toyota but I am not proud of the fact that the big 3 are falling on hard times with some of their product line. I personally think THAT is the problem today. Too many people are getting joy from watching foreign companies take over America. I see it in many of these threads, including this one. What "joy" is there in watching another countries industry overtake your own countries industry? IMO, it's one thing to prefer a Toyota vehicle, but it's another thing to enjoy seeing Detroit having a tough time and watching American companies that actually invented the automobile come close to closing their doors?
I don't see what the fascination is with that GM fax? If you actually believe that Toyota doesn't have hostile feelings towards other manufacturers and that they would never stoop to that level then you really are a Kool-aid drinker. It is a competition in every sense and if Toyota wasn't playing then you guys wouldn't be bragging about how much better your new Tundra is.
