Again true but have never thought in literal terms. BUT... the Pinto Ford could not recall as they believed the cost of recall would be more than wrongful death lawsuit settlements.

Then the "Exploder". Whose fault was that anyway? Ford's? Firestone? How quickly we Americans dismiss these stories when the next comes along.
