I started not to post this but I am getting a bit more upset now.
First of all ... I am a "Toyota Lover" and had many of them over 20 years with little or no problems. Sooo, dont flame me as Anti-Toyota.
I bought a new 2007 5.7L, 6 speed June 2nd and transmission went out in about a week later at 500 miles.
Dealer put a new one in and now I am about 950 miles and the "2nd Trans stuck in 5th gear (on the interstae yesterday) and this AM .. it seemd to be hesitating on shifting and slipping a bit at very low speeds, while shifting from 1st to 2nd to 3rd. And I drive really baby this truck too. Heck, I have only "hit the gas once" to merge .. just before the trans stuck in 4th/5th.
I am not an idiot when it come to vehicles (no I can't work on them) but I have raced cars (in my younger days) and have flown all types of aircraft.
I am ALWAYS in tune with whatever I am driving and/or flying and can "feel the equipment's performance"
Going to drive it a few more days and see if it settles down ... then I will approach Toyota dealer and TMCA and see their reaction and actions.
If no not good responses and answers ... going to call TMCA in CA and see what they will do.
If no "proper response" ... I will put this sucker on a flatbed trailer .. place (legal & well worded) magnetic stickers ALL over it and tow it around Atlanta with with my Nissan Titan.
This new (2nd 6 spd.) transmissionis really making me nervous now. ...

PS .. Sorry for the rant ... I needed to vent ... And to think of the $3K or $4K in mods that I have already done too. .. GRRRRRRR ...
