I am new to this board but you should not have to ask for an extension on a powertrain warenty. That is the whole reason I sided with GM 100,000 mile powertrain warenty. I am not trying to be a troll or anything, but I feel sorry for all the guys here going threw the trouble of failed motors and tranny's with less then 5,000 miles. It has got to be so fustrating to buy a 35k+ truck to have major problems with it. That is not to say I don't have my own problems too. Because we all know that every maufacture has their issues. I guess what gets me is the amount of people that swear that toy is the best and that my 07 Silverado and every other ind.'s that has a domestic is substandard. Maybe if toy didn't go rubbing it in everybody's face on how it can outperform the domestics people would not be on the band wagon so quick. Now look there amazing commercials got you to buy their piss poor truck, and it is stuck in the dealership for a tranny that is on backorder or motor replacement. SOSHeloPilot, I wouldn't use a nissan titan to tow the Tundra, I would use the Silverado VortecMAX since it is the closest contender to the Toyota Tundra. If you need me to pull it let me know.
