If what you want is power and a mellow sound, then you'll want the 2 in 1 out system. Summit racing has it for 400 buck shipped.
The 2 in 1 out system should mellow out the sound the best as it equalizes teh gases as they come through. You can also choose to put the stock resonator in place which will quiet things even more. I was going to go this route but I do like the sound and look of a 2in 2out system. The drone however is annoying.

Magnaflow has the dyno results posted on their site. It's 15 hp gain with 2 in 1 out and 9 hp gain with 2 in 2 out
