It depends on what you plan to do in your truck. I use my truck for hunting and fishing and I am constantly in mud or water. The Husky liners have a nice lip on them that I believe, don't hold me to this, will actually hold a gallon or so of water. I have had them in 4 trucks now. I tried the weathertech in my last truck and was a little disappointed. The husky's work great and keep the carpet looking brand new. They hold mud and water very well.
But it comes down to how you are going to use your truck. If you are not going to have muddy feet or wet waders in the truck then I would guess just about any type of rubber mat would work.
