5.7, 4X4 DC, 4700 Miles on ODO, daily driver in California (Average temps 75F), towed my 8000 lb trailer 3 times in the last 4 months (Well under tow limit), I don't lead foot except for freeway onramps, use tow/haul mode when towing (Also tow in 5th, as 6th gear won't keep up enough RPM's to keep my trailer going). Nothing else stands out. My tranny went out while I was leaving work one day, under no hard acceleration??
