Thanks for finding it. It says:
"... If the engine coolant temperature is low, the transmission will not shift into overdrive gear even with the overdrive on."
The effect of this is to keep the RPMs higher in 3rd gear until the engine has reached 137F on the way to full warm up at 185F. I speculate this is either to avoid low RPMs in overdrive with a cold engine, or to hasten warmup for economy, or both. I just wish I could find Scion's own explanation of the purpose of this feature.
