We test drove both vehicles, looked at all the features, and even put our two carseats in them. Basically, we liked the exterior look of the Tahoe better and the interior of the Sequoia the best. Since the interior is what mattered to us, we chose the Sequoia. The Seqouia has much more legroom inside in both the 2nd and 3rd rows. It is actually longer than the Tahoe and just squeezes into my garage. But, the difference in interior legroom is dramatic. Plus, the Tahoe barely fit our two carseats comfortably and in the Sequoia, the carseats in the second row are so far away that I am not kicked by my 3 year old at all!

Plus, I think the Sequoia drives much better. The Tahoe is a much more truckish and bumpy ride. The Sequoia drives very smooth. Now, I liked the bells and whistles in the Tahoe that the Sequoia did not offer---rear camera, button-controlled removable seats, etc. But, I am happy with my purchase!

I basically feel the same way. I was looking back in '02, and I was leaning towards the Tahoe. But the wife has been in a Toyota for years, and loves them. Since she was going to drive it the most, I figured we should check them out at least. So I decided to test drive the Sequoia.

I definitely liked the interior better, and the drive was slightly more comfortable. All in all, I have no regrets about getting the Sequoia.

After doing more research after buying the car, I realized how much better the resale value is also...

note: although, when we do start shopping for another car... I may have to look at the Denali's again.. the new ones are nice!
