Default Re: Denver area Meet & Greet

I read into Bill Moore Lake a little and camping is allowed around the lake but I need to call the Clear Creek Sheriffs dept to see if they allow camp fires, Also I hear it gets pretty cold even in summer since it's at 11000+ feet. Have you been up there yet Vivid? I hear the lake is pretty shallow with no fish since it freezes, I was hoping to do a little fishing maybe. If the sheriff gives me an OK on the campfires I will run it by the other guys that are going with me. I would also like to check out Jones Pass, Kingston Peak, Red Elephant Hill, Mill Creek, or any of the trails near the lake. Let me know what days your staying and what your up for.

Temp, Coney sounds like a good idea. Camp dick isn't free is it? I haven't been there yet. I heard 13 or 16$? Doesn't matter, I would just like to know. Crowded on weekends? We hope to camp Friday night through Sunday, if I can get Sunday afternoon off of work (fingers crossed) Let me know what you guys decide, Coney or Moody?
