Hey Chicho,

Out of the box, a locked 80 series LC or LX will walk circles around a stock 4x4 Tundra. Both are great trucks, but come on. I've been on trails that a Tundra would never go/fit. You'd have to ADD lockers to a Tundra to make it closer in comparison to an LC.

The LX is typically a little more $$$, but not by much. There are guys that wheel them and lift them. The LX and LC are virtually identical. Anything you can put on an LC will go on an LX.

The 'cool' thing about about wheeling an LX is that people can't believe that you wheel a Lexus.

For what it's worth; the first time I wheeled my Tundra, the 4x4 wouldn't engage.
