Unfortunately, the fish stinks from the head down.
I am certain Toyota has heard repeated complaints from the same delaerships/service departments. However, for the most part, they are virtually helpless to do anything about it. Somehow, someway, it is hidden way down deep in the licensing agreements.
Even within the dealership, again, the stink is at the top. Managers allow....even encourage...some of the behaviors reported all over this site.
I know that I used to work for a small sales organization who had an unspoken standing policy that they would not hire any sales people who had been in the car business...at any level.
I am not saying that all car sales people should be re-located to leper island....but there must be something to the personality and behavior traits to see this over and over.
