Would the resident TS Fortune Teller please answer this guy's question?
No, really man, there's no way to tell, people here seem to think it will fix the issue. As a matter of fact, of all the TSBs performed with the latest newly designed hardware, I've only read 2 complaints of it not fixing the situation. Is that 2 too many? Probably, but is it the (1)mechanic's ineptness, (2)the customer's mis-treatment/diagnosis, or (3)T's lack of a FIRM solution? My guess is in that order, 1-2-3.
From that amount of work this TSB involves, for the amount of money this TSB costs, and for the amount of time it took the big T to design and implement this TSB, one would certainly surmise that the Big Guns at T said FIX IT.
This is clearly not just any ol' work-around...
