I think they are the same size.
When I pasted the two pics into one, and then zoomed in to get as much detail as possible, I think the old caliper pic just turned out larger. By looking at the rotors, you can sorta see that the new rotor is smaller in the pic when they are actually the same size.
Just a trick on the eyes I guess.
