Re: Turtle wax ICE vs other waxes for my Tundra ?
I use the Collinite Insulator Wax #845. It last a LONG time. I waxed my truck and it lasted about 6 months. Note where I am from, South Florida. All waxes break down in heat, sunlight, water, dirt, and soaps. South Florida has lots of sun, hotter then hell, rains everyday, I am in a city and do some off roading in the glades, and wash after every off roading adventure. I used the Mothers system, steps 1 and 2, to get all the old wax and crap off then you have a clean surface to put your wax on. Plan your wax dates. Spring and late fall in my opinion are the best. In the summer it is to hot to be waxing a truck, even a car for that matter. And in the winter it is too cold(except for us in the south).
